The archetypal characteristic that describes Alexander Jessup Kaufman best would be a mentor. He would be a mentor because he aids the hero, which is Samantha. He is older, and wiser, and helps Samantha through all the rough patches, and all the negative impacts in her life. He gives her advice, and shows her there is always a bright side to things. He shows the inner godlike things within us. He provides the heros needs for her challenge, and can occasionally be the hero's conscience.
Good choice in character traits to describe the mentor. Next time try to use more of the words on our archetypal hero handout (example, matyr, selfsacrifice, Change in order to grow, etc.), also a quotation from your book would help too, to show your further understanding and knowledge of the blog post assignments and of your book.
ReplyDeleteWow! This character sounds like the perfect mentor. You did a great job describing how he is a mentor. Next time maybe use a direct quote of him giving advice or something like that other than that great job.
