The Monkeyface Chronicles

He shows a number of characteristics of a hero throughout the book, such as sacrifice, when he takes on the challenge with Grant and Grum Brush, and he doesn't let his brother Michael help him in the situation. He also shows courage, throughout the book, first to take on the fight with the two brothers, and also stand up for his girlfriend Adeline. He shows dedication and perserverance, because at the end, after the big accident, he suffers for a long period of time, but doesn't give up, and keeps going. He's willing and adventerous based on the journey he goes through in the book. So as you can see he possesses a variety of different characteristics.

You may want to look over the expectations of the blog assignment one more time Alisha - it is time to move on beyond this book. You should have read and responded to four books by now. three more weeks and the posting is done - let's see what other novels you can refer to here.
ReplyDeleteIts good that you say how the person is a hero and then you back up your answer which is something that is really good. You also explain the book pretty well without giving away too much info. That book sounds pretty good too, and i liked that you used words like dedication or perseverance rather than using other words like good or strong.
ReplyDeleteOverall good blog post. I like how you backed your answer with an event that happened in your novel. Maybe next time use a quote from your novel to show one of his characteristics instead of explaining it in your own words.
